ZSM-5 series zeolite has strong hygroscopicity and is widely used as a desiccant for gas purification. Avoid direct exposure to air during storage. The storage time is long, and the hygroscopic molecular sieve should be regenerated before use. Avoid molecular sieve oils and liquid water. When in use, try to avoid contact with oil and liquid water. The gases used for drying in industrial production are air, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, argon, etc. In order to ensure the continuous operation of the equipment, they work and regenerate alternately. The dryer works at 8-12, raising the temperature to 350. Exhaled air regenerates. The regeneration temperature of molecular sieves of different specifications is slightly different. Molecular sieves have a good catalytic effect on some organic phase reactions.

1. Thermal stability. ZSM-5 series zeolite has high thermal stability. This is caused by the structurally stable 5-membered ring and high silicon-aluminum ratio in the framework. For example, the crystal structure did not change after the sample was baked for about 850 to 2 hours. It can even withstand high temperatures of 1100. ZSM-5 is one of the most thermally stable known zeolites. Therefore, it is especially suitable for high temperature processes. For example, as a hydrocarbon decomposition catalyst, it can withstand the high temperatures of regenerating catalysts.
2. Acid resistance. ZSM-5 series zeolite has good acid resistance and can withstand various acids other than hydrofluoric acid.
