Secondary structural unit of REY series zeolite

The skeleton structure of REY series zeolite is formed by the limited or infinite connection of primary structural units. Limited structural units, such as secondary structural units, usually refer to multiple ring structures composed of TO4 tetrahedrons by using fixed-point oxygen atoms together in different ways. Common ring structures such as four-membered rings and five-membered rings , six-membered rings, double four-membered rings and double six-membered rings. Now found 18 kinds of secondary structural units.

For example, the 4-4 secondary structural unit represents two four-membered rings, that is, double four-membered rings. The REY series zeolite is formed through the connection between the SOD cage and the double four-membered ring. Of course, what we call SBU is just a topological unit in a theoretical sense, in order to better understand and explain the structure of REY series zeolite, and it cannot be regarded as the real species of REY series zeolite crystallization process in this way.
