REY series zeolite is mainly a sedimentary rock ejected from a volcano, because the organic matter in the sedimentary rock is liquefied or gasified to form tiny holes, and these holes happen to be the habitats of nitrifying bacteria. REY series zeolite is a mineral composed of aluminosilicates, etc., and has adsorption to cations.
REY series zeolite, which is a crystalline mineral body, is a porous filter material. The REY series zeolite with ions can absorb ammonia and other impurities in water. At present, most of the REY series zeolite sold in the aquarium market are in granular or powder form. The adsorption capacity of REY series zeolite is limited, so the dirt accumulated in the pores of REY series zeolite must be removed immediately. However, because the price of REY series zeolite is relatively cheap, many aquarium enthusiasts will throw away the REY series zeolite after it loses its efficacy, and then buy it again.

In fact, in the process of using REY series zeolite, if you only put REY series zeolite into the filter without treatment, it will not keep the water clean. Only through regular cleaning and regular "regeneration" can the water filtration effect of REY series zeolite continue to be maintained.
During this period of regular cleaning, under the condition of normal water quality, the cleaning and regeneration can be performed once a month in summer, and it can be extended to three months in winter. Reduced time to clear "regen".
